Claire Josephine King, born May 6th, 2006!

This is just a few hours after Claire was born, that horrible pink hospital-issue hat makes her look like a garden gnome.




This was taken on Sunday. Claire mauled her face before this picture, and I'd given up on trying to keep that horrid hat on her.




Olly took this on Tuesday to make a get-well picture for his dad, who'd had outpatient surgery that morning. This was the only way Claire slept for the first few days- in our arms.




You can really see the jaundice in this one, but I wanted to post a picture that proves that Claire is awake once in a while!




Tonight's fun- Claire's first full bath. She did not like it, at all. But look at those feet!




Yes, she survived the bath. Claire usually sucks on the backs of her hands, but I suppose the bath was traumatic enough to warrant a thumb.
